Our Story

A path, written in scent.

We started in Val Gardena, on the kind of morning where the cold lingers under the pines and the light turns silver before the sun reaches the valley floor. Walking those sentieri, the alpine paths that thread between woods, meadows, and rock, the air had a memory: resin, lichen, snow that had only just retreated. The pines especially, mugo close to the ground and cembra rising tall above it, held the morning in their needles long after the cold had gone. We wanted to bottle that memory. The name says it plainly: scent in English, sentieri in Italian. A path of fragrances. Pine Serenity is the first stretch of that path; more may follow, in time.

Born from hospitality.

Scentieri comes from a lifelong hospitality background. Our founder grew up in his family's hotel in the Dolomites. A life spent welcoming guests teaches you what makes an experience feel intentional rather than transactional: the small, sensorial moments. The Body & Hair Wash at the basin. The Hand Cream on the bedside table. The Lotion after the bath. In 2025 we launched Scentieri to make exactly those moments: first for our own properties, then for anyone who wants a real product and a real experience at home. The Hospitality Set, in that sense, is not an afterthought. It's where we began.

A slow promise.

Two mountain pines anchor the first line: Pinus mugo, the dwarf mountain pine, wiry and resinous; Pinus cembra, the Swiss stone pine, taller and softer, the wood used for traditional South Tyrolean bedrooms because the scent is said to slow the heart rate. Formulations are developed locally, bottles are amber and recyclable. We could have started Scentieri anywhere. We started it where we are because this place stays with you, and our promise is to keep that memory honest in every bottle we make.
